I was browsing the music therapy section of the library and stumbled across this film "Alive Inside", awarded the Audience Award at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. What a beautiful documentary about the power of music and memory and how it can connect people who may be living at the fringes of society, particularly those who may feel isolated in nursing homes.
It led me to consider how easy it is to discuss and share music with others and prompted me to have a few chats about favourite songs and stories associated with these within my own family.
Check it out on netflix! Great viewing!
