Our teachers
Our teachers each bring a wealth of musical knowledge and teaching experience to our classes.

As part of the teacher accreditation process through the NSW Suzuki Association, Suzuki teachers take part in ongoing professional development. Our teachers will regularly be reading, researching and taking part in workshops, about early childhood development and music teaching.

Kay
Kay began teaching Suzuki piano in 1981. With the birth of her granddaughter in 2005 came a desire to give her the 'gift of music' and so she commenced training later that year to teach Suzuki Early Childhood Education classes. Kay established Twinkle Tots with another partner teacher and has trained several partner teachers over the past 12 years. Kay retired in 2018 but does return from time to time to teach.
Laura
Laura has been teaching Suzuki Early Childhood Education Baby and Toddler Classes for eight years. She is also a teacher of dance and mathematics and is currently in research for her Ph.D. at the University of Wollongong. During her school years she was a Suzuki flute student.
Julianne
Julianne joined the Twinkle Tots team in mid-2017 after returning to Wollongong to commence a Master of Teaching (Primary) at the University of Wollongong. In the past Julianne worked in community legal education and government appeals tribunals and has been an active playing member of community symphony orchestras wherever she lives. Her love of music does not discriminate and she has also dabbled in fiddle, bluegrass and gypsy-jazz classes. Julianne is a Suzuki violin teacher and completed her Suzuki Early Childhood Music Certificate in 2018 with the NSW Suzuki Association in Sydney.
